My passion is snow and mountains in summer and winter. The assessment of the respective day situation (alpine dangers) is one of my greatest strengths besides my skiing skills.
For more than twentyfive years, I have been active as a state certified ski and mountain guide mainly in the Arlberg region and in a lot neighboring countries (Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany). As a qualified chef, I was running for many years the Fiderepasshütte (Oberstdorf / Kleinwalsertal) and at Göppinger Hütte (Lechquell area). In the summer I am working as a state certified mountain guide for the mountaineering school Kleinwalsertal – according to my motto: “The mountains are my life – in winter as in summer.”
As a state certified ski instructor, I have twenty years of experience, ten of them in the Zillertal and the other ten years at the Arlberg. I spent twelve years train ski instructors in Tyrol. Besides, I am a commercial masseur and a masseur. My motto: “The respect for each other determines the dealings with each other!”
I like to spend summer and winter in the mountains. Through my alpine experience, reliability and adaptability my guests can feel safe.
Even as a child I admired the mountains. My fascination for steep and high spots grew continously, until one day, during my studies, I decided to make my hobby to a profession. Since 1997, I have been a state certified mountain and ski guide and snow sports instructor. I love my work, the mountains and nature. Passing many winter seasons between Lech, Zürs and St. Anton, I was falling in love with the Arlberg region and so it became a second home for me. My goal has been always to offer my clients something special – and I do not necessarily mean superlatives but my client should feel comfortable with me and take home beautiful, unforgettable experiences, whose memory gives him strength and energy in office life.
I have been working at the Arlberg as a certified ski instructor for more than twentyfive years. In the summer I am working as a hiking guide at Oberlech. My motto is “to offer the guest relaxing, eventful and unforgettable holidays!”
In the summertime I am enjoying my favourite hobbies climbing, mountain hiking and mountainbiking.
My motto is “Enjoy the mountains with joy and respect!”
I live alternately in Australia (double citizenship) and Austria. Working for more than 30 years the Arlberg, I always moved in off-seasons to my second home, Australia. So, I was there for several years director of the local ski school in the skiresort Perisher-Smiggins .
For 16 years, I am active as a mountain and ski guide in the Alps and in the winter evenly on the Arlberg.
My motto is “A day without a smile is a lost day.”
More than 22 years ago, I began my ski instructor career in my hometown Heiligenblut/Großglockner. Since 2003, as a state-certified ski instructor I am accompanying guests on powder slopes at the Arlberg. My heart for the ski racing brought me to work as a skicoach for all classes. Since 2008 I am a member of the Vorarlberg ski instructor’s training Team, where I am active in the ski and alpine education. In the summer I work as an industrial climber. Furthermore, I own the Chalet Alpin in Heiligenblut. My motto is, “When a door closes, two others will open.”
Born and raised in Dalaas, at the bottom of the Arlberg, skiing was in my focus from childhood on. By now, I’ve already been taken an active part as a ski guide in Zürs for 15 years. Since 2009 I have also trained the new to-be skiinstructors in Vorarlberg.
My range of services reaches from the very beginners to expert ski tourers as well as special technique training, children program or snowboard units.
My philosophy: “safety – fun – learning – success”. If these 3 points flow into each other, a perfect skiing holiday is guaranteed.
